The PiCo electronic was developed for industrial customers to apply graphite paste or lubrication paint to motor pistons for passenger and commercial vehicles. The Sprimag engineering group has designed a system that incorporates fully automatic handling equipment, video measurement, a drying oven, and proportioning / conveyor systems. This system is able to print not only on pistons, but on most cylindrical parts. Advantages of the screen printing method : Coating material savings of by 60 - 80 % compared to conventional      spray coating method. Uniform application of 5 to 25 microns with a thickness tolerance of      ± 2 microns. No air cleaning system required. Productivity is increased due to      only 3 minute setup time. Allows the application of clearly defined, high-precision shapes      and very accurate edges. The PiCo electronic system can be easily integrated into a fully      automated production line.
