Hassia's THM - Thermo forming, filling and sealing machines Functional description : 
Flat web material is taken from a reel, partially plastified above a contact heating plate, and, within the
thermoforming station, shaped into a cup within a cooled mould, using pre-forming dies and air. Within
a post-connected station, a tear-off corner for easy opening of the package can be punched in. In the
subsequent filling station, one complete package tray will be filled respectively within each machine cycle.
Fillers with CIP/SIP capability, designed according to product requirements, will provide a drip-free
volume-precise filling. Lid web material is taken from an easy to access feed reel and fed to the cup web
material strip such that it is fully congruent. Then, the packaging will be hermetically sealed - complete with
subsequent cooling of the sealing area - before precision punches are used to separate the packages .The
minimum punch waste will be crushed by means of impact cutters and discharged. The packages will then
leave the machine via a discharge conveyor or a transportation rail.
Own collective packaging systems are then available for the fully automatic further packaging of the portion cups, scaled on both sides, into cartons or trays. Technical data : Machine/ Type THM 17/28 18/42 28/48 28/60 2 8/80
